Control Panel Design

Our team of control panel engineers are experienced in a wide range of industries from water treatment to stone crushing, and work very closely with all clients to ensure we understand all their wishes and concerns, prior to manufacture. Our design office is equipped with the very latest CAD and printing technology, enabling our control panel and system engineers to efficiently produce technical drawings to the latest standards and client specifications.

Control Panel Manufacture

Our experienced engineers provide a comprehensive control panel manufacturing service including sheet metal fabrication, spray and stove enamel finishing, electrical assembly, bus-bar copper work, wiring and labelling. Our sheet metal department manufactures both indoor and outdoor type cubicles using Mild Steel ‘Zintec’ sheet or stainless steel. Our spray-shop will degrease the metalwork, prime and top-coat in a BS4800 or RAL colour as specified by the client.

Control Panel Testing & Training

Prior to a client factory acceptance test, all control panels are rigorously tested within our test department to ensure that the functionality, build quality and safety features comply with all relevant specifications and current standards. All external site connections are simulated so that panel hardware and any software is fully tested prior to delivery. Completed test procedures and certificates of conformity are provided within the Operation and Maintenance Manuals for each control panel.

Paktronic has its own in house systems training room, allowing us to offer our clients appropriately tailored training courses for their staff, prior to the control panel being delivered to site.

PLC Programming and SCADA Systems

At Paktronic we have been working with PLC’s, HMI’s and SCADA systems for more than 20 years. This has given us a broad knowledge base enabling us to provide the complete control solution of integrated hardware and software for our clients.

We have extensive experience in using communication protocols such as Ethernet I/P, Modbus, Profibus and distributed Remote I/O controls.

Our highly qualified software engineers have an extensive knowledge of many control systems and hardware platforms including, Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation (strategic software provider), Mitsubishi (approved system provider), Omron, Yokogawa, Modicon and Siemens.
