Wednesday 5 February is a day that will be remembered by Paktronic Engineering. It is the day John Wright – Managing Director met Her Majesty the Queen at the Official Opening of the new Wolferton Pumping Station.
John Wright and Sales Manager – Tom Nicholas were joined by other contractors who had been instrumental in the build of the new pumping station. Much interest was show in the fully automated Motor Control Centre designed, manufactured and installed by Paktronic as Her Majesty was given a brief introduction to the Control Room before pushing a specially installed remote start button.
The starting of the Motor Control Centre energized the drive units that in turn started the first of three pumps, manufactured and installed by Bedford Pumps. Paktronic Engineering have worked together with Bedford Pumps on a number of prestigious projects and are proud of their association with Kings Lynn Internal Drainage Board.
